About R & D Truck Repair

In Avon, shops are busiest on Monday mornings and before holiday weekends, so a mid-week appointment gets a car seen faster. Labor rates across Massachusetts vary by neighborhood and by shop type, from small independents to dealership service bays, and mobile mechanics now cover many routine jobs in the driveway. Before authorizing a repair, ask for the estimate in writing, whether the shop warranties parts and labor (12 months / 12,000 miles is common, some offer more), and whether it can provide a loaner or a shuttle. Check the listing for hours, the makes the shop works on and its Google rating, then call ahead, since walk-in capacity is limited at smaller shops.
Hours are published for 5 days a week. The most common schedule is 8 am–5 pm. Note that it does not open on Saturday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach R & D Truck Repair at (508) 897-8802; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is randdtruckrepair.net, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.3 out of 5 from 40 reviews, which is a strong result for an auto repair shop in Avon and suggests consistent service.
Avon is in Massachusetts, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Avon is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Massachusetts's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Exceptional truck repair company! I’ve been dealing with a front end issue for a year or so, I’ve brought my truck to numerous so called truck repair companies and none of them could pin down the issue. I was referred to R&D by an employee. Long story short, they found the issue(drag link, tie rod ends, and a kingpin)the first time they inspected my truck. And they pointed out an issue whereas a repair that had supposedly been done by another company actually wasn’t resolved(wheel seal). That allowed me to return to the company that didn’t perform the repair properly(wheel seal)and have them repair it properly. R&D’s pricing is priced accordingly and they do awesome work! Doubt I’ll ever go another truck repair shop ever again. Great group of techs and office management.

Roughly 11 years ago, I pulled into this establishment for some necessary work, the nature of which escapes me now. It got taken care of, but what resonates with me is how decent the owner was to me. I hadn't eaten at the time I rolled into his yard, and first thing he did was have one of his guys take me to a place where I could get some food, and in fact he bought my lunch for me. He also gave me a company t shirt, which I'm pretty sure I still have. It was a period in time where I needed a little kindness, and I know it's been awhile, but I never forgot.

Rick is the best in the business never had an issue with anything he's ever worked on for me or the equipment he works on where I work. Top notch always professional & explains everything that needs to be done in good detail. His crew is lucky to have a pro like him that they can lean on if they have a issue with something they're working on.
